Welcome to the homepage of the German Society for Personnel Management (a registered association)
It stands for professionalism and for the transfer of current scientific findings to organizational practice as well as for social responsibility. On the initiative of the military government of that time, the DGP was created on April 1, 1949 as a registered (nonprofit) association in Frankfurt/Main. Its statutory members are legal entities, such as government agencies, administrations in the public sector, business enterprises, non-profit organizations and research institutes. The DGP advises its clients on all matters of personnel selection, personnel training and organizational development, by application of the most recent research findings in the field of applied psychology. |
